AL1 100% Practice Sessions

There will be Two Australian Practice 100% Qualifying & Race sessions before Season 4 starts. The 1st session will be this Monday 8th (the forecast clear) & the next on the following Monday 15th (light rain is expected ). With the 1st Race of the Season starting on Monday 22nd (too far ahead for a forecast, sorry lol).

I can make the second one.

Should be at the first one definitely, maybe the second one too.

Can make first first (might be a little hungover though ) will have to see about the second.

Can I suggest that we do one race around melbourne then the week after do a race around a different track like one that is later on in the session? Just a suggestion.

Maybe with Melbourne's unpredictable weather do 1 dry practice and 1 wet

I'm not really aware of what competitive laptimes are but just did a quick session there and did a 1:23.7xx if anyone's looking for a benchmarker

Sorry guys I had to go because the one day of the year family are round is today hahahaha. Did a 1.24.2 in the practise qualy and took pole by half a second quicker times still to come tho.

i heard you guys talking about the track next week, hock would be a good choice to do a quick 50%.

Yeah in tt? Or in a qualy session? If in qualy then you must be coulour blind as the track in NOT green its a black to grey coulour. Only with serious corner cutting can you do a 23.2 in qualy.

I'm sure he's on about tt daff as im sure it's impossible to do that time with out cutting a hell of a lot of corners very blatantly to get that sort of time. I did a 22.6 in tt but for some reason tt is so much faster lol.
Just so we are clear.
8.0 - The race Circuit is clearly defined by the white lines either side on the track on the edge.
8.1 - Intentionally Cutting Corners to gain a time advantage is not Permitted in the F1PS3League's.
8.2 - Cutting a corner persistently will encore a Race Ban and possible suspension from your league.
8.3 - It is permitted to run wide at a corner on the dust & marbles, then rejoin the race track safely.
8.4 - You must have at least 1 wheel within the white lines to be counted as on the track.

It's quite simple. But I think offline cars are a tenth or two quicker than equal online. I don't really do TT fish. And tt's faster because there's no tyre wear so more grip. Also I didn't cut

It's quite simple lol hahahaha. That times mental man. My best time is a 1.24.006 and I recon I could do a tenth faster but to do that for me is crazy lol. Pole position is yours in the first race mate. I want to see you do a lap in a practise session!!

I'm struggling for any grip in the Ferrari so 1.23.5 at most would be a good time for me. But I could jump in a sauber or something and do a 23.2

Guys can we please end this ongoing discussion its not going anywhere & is not helping! Bullet your not setting a good example to others in the league saying you can do those times its just talk & i wont believe it till i see it.

I recorded my qualifying lap from Monday's practice session, I broke too late going into turn 1, missed the apex and had all 4 wheels outside of the white lines of the track at the entrance to turn 2 but other than that it shows that you can do times in the 1:23 range without cutting, however I think doing a laptime any quicker than 1:23.5 is likely to require some kind of cutting or extending the track somewhere.

That's a really nice lap jonny . I can match your sector times up to sector two but I seem to loose around half a second in sector 3;( lol I really don't no why I don't do anything different to what you are doing haha. O well looking forward tithe race and session it's going to be very competative

Jonneh is doing some crazy times without even DRL. Me thinks he is a pro league driver surely, Maybe only bullet n johnlarkin can even get near that level of performance in al1.

It's one track Topman. There no different to you and I. They just have to much time in there hands to practise. I did a 1.23.6 last night. Only because I practised like mad. Wait until drivers only have a week to propare for a race. Then Things might be different. I want them to stay because they are as good as you get on this game. Witch makes it more Of a challenge to beat them and will feel great I'f you do beat them .

Won't be racing tonight sorry, been on holiday for 2 weeks then all of a sudden it's the last day before you go back and you have a tonne of work to do, will definitely be there next Monday though!
