Malaske took a few moments away from washing Chickie's car and had this to say concerning today's race.

"I've put a lot of track time in this week and I'm hoping for a top 3 finish but will be happy if I can get 5th. Have to see if I can keep the car pointed the right way down the track in the first lap. I'll be keeping an eye on my mirrors for LaurenceRascalworth. Linden kicked a drug habit for this race, so he might be up there. There's rumors going round that the McLarens might both be strong here. Red Bull and Ferrari could have a good qualifying. But we'll have to see if they can show they aren't just 1lap wonders. Chickie's looking pretty good for the race. I haven't seen him on track for practice, so he must be confident he's got this one in the bag."
