Drivers Etiquette
14.1 - Drivers Etiquette and Courtesy of Overtaking Safely.. PLEASE CLICK >> How To Overtake!
14.2 - Drivers must abide by the pit lane exit lines and not cut to gain an advantage.
Chief Steward (Capt_Crankshaft) advises In-Race Stewards to judge the appropriateness of potential punishment according to the track being raced. For example, a tricky pit-lane we race as such at Monaco requires empathetic leniency in most instances, compared with the simpler, wider, straight exits such as Spain, Australia, Valencia. Use common sense as often as you can.
14.3 - Drivers must abide by the pit lane entry lines and not cut to gain an advantage. Judgement and potential punishment will be broadly based on guidelines laid out in 14.2
14.4 - Drivers must keep at least 2 wheels on the track at all times.

- Tyres Rubbing against the line, as long as trajectory remains inside pit-lane = No Penalty
- 2 wheels outside the line, but with immediate return inside OR slightly cutting the final few cms of pitlane = No Penalty (in majority of cases)
- 2 or more wheels outside of line without returning, and without showing due care and attention to the potential consequences of what problems this could cause (no incident actually caused) = 3 or 5 points depending on the extent of this lapse of judgement.
- 2 or more wheels outside the line, leading to the hindering/impeding/collision of another car, demonstrating a lack of consideration for other racers and why the line is present = 5 point fixed penalty, with options for more at discretion of FiA, depending on severity of incident.
