Connection Speed

Anyone have any tips on how to get a good connection with PS3?
My wireless connected laptop gets 24mbs download and 4.5mbs upload
My wired connection PS3 however gets 22mbs download and 500kbs upload
I'm lucky if I get a single red bar when racing.

I find that quite weird.. with a wired connection your upload speed should be consistent if not better than your wireless connection.
How long's the cable you're running?

Well that really is weird then.. should be much better through the wired :S
Have you tried using the wireless in the PS3?

It's to do with people connecting to the English F1 2011 servers from a different country. Seems like there are a ton of problems for people when connecting to them. I've perfect connection as far as any other game goes but when I join a league race its horrible

codemasters just have shit servers mate, they match the game really
